Beyond The Valley Lineup Predictions 2024
Fisher
With what seems to be evergrowing popularity, Fisher is a name that keeps coming up in BTV lineup predictions. Australian-born but based in Los Angeles, Fisher has developed great international popularity and would be an incredible NYE act to count BTV into 2025.
Troy Sivan
Though a bit of stretch, we can only hope and dream that the Australian pop icon might grace the main stage at BTV this year. With his Australia and New Zealand tour ending on December 2, BTV would be the perfect close to a memorable tour, especially with their tagline this year being “self-expression, creativity and connection”. We hope to see you there Troy!
Marlon Hoffstatd
The German dance/electronic DJ is a much-anticipated potential act for BTV 2024. With new music releases and acts all across Europe, fans expect him to make his way to the festival for the New Year. It’s also rumoured that he may or may not have hinted his place on the lineup on his social media, multiple times… allegedly.
Kita Alexander
Earlier this year, Brisbane singer Kita Alexander released her newest album Young and in Love, followed by embarking on her debut headline tour across Australia. With growing popularity and her tour closing on November 24 in Tasmania, it’s highly expected that she will be welcomed to BTV as a promising new Australian artist.
Confidence Man
Having played at BTV in 2019 and again in 2022, many fans are holding out hope to see the beloved party-starters back on the stage again this year. Their performance in 2022 included multiple outfit changes, elaborate costumes and engaging theatrics. With their album Confidence Man 3 AM (La La La) releasing soon and a fresh new tour scheduled for the second half of this year, BTV would support their release of new music and welcome them for a new, exciting performance.
Olivia Dean
A Fresh new face on the scene is Neo-soul UK singer Olivia Dean. With her music going viral on social media, she’s found herself on Jimmy Kimmel live and receiving BBC music awards. With a strong fan base in Australia and her new single Time, as well as BTV’s general love for UK artists, we’ve got our fingers crossed that we’ll see her there this summer.
Barry Can’t Swim
Barry Can’t Swim, the electronic music producer and DJ from Edinburgh, is another new artist who has recently burst onto the scene. Having never played at Pitch or BTV before and having new music recently released, Barry Can’t Swim is heavily rumoured to join this year’s lineup. We predict he will be a rousing addition to the sets at the Dance Dome.
Thelma Plum
Indigenous artist from New South Wales Thelma Plum is a household name across Australia. After a short hiatus from making music, she recently released a new single Nobody’s Baby – perhaps this is a sign that she’s gearing up to release more music. A few shows in booked throughout Victoria and Queensland around the time of the festival hint that we might see her for New Year’s.
Sally C
Sally C is another highly rumoured artist expected at BTV this year. The Belfast-born, Berlin-based DJ and producer has shows in Europe, the USA and the UK for the rest of the year, with her final show oddly enough in Hong Kong. As it’s in November, we predict that Hong Kong is her bridge to Australia. She has also previously toured with Untitled Group – the organisers of BTV. See you there Sally C.
DJ Boring
With great popularity in Melbourne due to his dazzling sets and incredible on-stage abilities, DJ Boring is another name we’re hoping for on the BTV line-up. Having played before at BTV and toured with Untitled group, DJ Boring is expected for another expressive and passionate set. His latest album DJ Kicks: DJ Boring, is all the more reason for his name on the lineup.
