Just before the break, Queen Bey took us all by surprise when she dropped her best album yet (too early to call? Nah) replete with a video for each track. Pretty much any song on the record could pass as a single, but XO is the one that ended up in my inbox. It’s the hugest track on the album, and could pass as a concert closer should Halo ever be retired from that duty. It invokes an air of ceremony, personable within a sea of fireworks. That’s real.
