While not typically one for nostalgia, Lee says this tour felt right.
“It’s become abundantly clear to me that this album Awake was a really vital part of so many people’s lives and emotional journeys.”
Written during a time of major personal transition, the album captured themes of love, change, and spiritual awakening — and remains one of his most enduring works.
Fans can expect a throwback to 2005-style live shows: no backing tracks, no video screens, just “a great band on a stage covered in flowers, singing songs about love and lust and adventure and interconnectivity.”
In tandem with the tour, Lee will also release Catch My Disease 2025 — a reimagined, shoegaze-tinged version of his 2005 hit, made in collaboration with longtime friends Phantom Planet.
