Bel Kil

Bel Kil is set to launch her new EP, Wasted Emotion, with a special headline show at The Ev. As both a producer and artist, she blends raw emotion with sharp pop instincts, drawing from multiple genres and decades to create something that feels both nostalgic and strikingly fresh.

Each song on Wasted Emotion captures a different side of self-discovery—”Rose Street” pulses with the rush of possibility, laced with vulnerability and spontaneity. “Not Whatchu Think” pushes back against expectations, while “Ruthless” channels the drive to chase dreams against the odds. “Kinda Funny” finds humor in carving your own path, and the title track, “Wasted Emotion”, lingers in the bittersweet nostalgia of growing up.

With her distinct production style, captivating melodies, and a live show that shifts between intimate and electrifying, Bel Kil brings these songs to life on stage with her full band.

Joining her on the night is the soulful alt-rock powerhouse Ethan Conway, known for his unforgettable four-chair turn on The Voice Australia, plus Cycad, the local alt-rock four-piece with a cover of Radiohead’s Fake Plastic Trees that’s arguably better than the original.

After playing a string of festivals, this will be Bel Kil’s first—and only—Melbourne show for a while before she embarks on an East Coast tour with Ethan Conway.

Don’t miss it. Come down, soak it up, and be part of the night.
