Brass-band-with-attitude Horns of Leroy are returning to the stage for another helping of their punked out street band stylings. Also on the bill is Aria Award-winning recording artist Garfield Vaughn aka Gary Pinto, who is sure to impress audiences with his unique fusion of hip hop and soul. As if that wasn’t enough, you can also expect to see singer/songwriter Thando, local hip hop wunderkind Dylan Joel, and jazz king Jon Hunt.

Rat Child will ensnare you with her unique take on composition and performance. Backed by a talented collective of musicians, Rat Child regales her tales from both the realms of the political and the personal, while maintaining an air of pure, relaxed relatability. Mystical acoustic folk musician Zoë Fox will also harness your attention, serenading audiences with the groovy, ethereal stage presence that has seen her tour France. Likewise, blues roots songwriter Alister Turrill weaves intricate, complex melodies that pack powerful emotion. Improvisational blues soul collective Checkerboard will be exploring the creative depths of their craft, inviting attendees along on a spontaneous journey of exciting experimentation. Similarly, Louie & The Pride will combine their varied influences into a refreshingly distinct brand of acoustic-flavoured indie folk-pop. DJ Steely Ann will be concocting some musical magic late into the night, by playing a well-crafted selection of bangers from the ‘70s and ‘80s – a mixture of country, pop, new wave and rock classics.

The historic pub and rave cave has something to offer everyone looking to boogie, with everything from techno to minimal psy-trance happening throughout the day. The lineup includes trance wizards Zone Tempest and Positive Pete, techno from buzzed about locals Duane Bartolo and Sammy La Marca, and representatives from Melbourne’s booming minimal scene Short Round. All of these acts will be tiered throughout the day and playing across both the inside and outside stages. Eager EDM heads might want to pace themselves, as the festivities kick of at 1pm and carry on until midnight.

Blistering pub-rock dynamos Australian Kingswood Factory will be smashing expectations and getting the adrenaline flowing, as shall the exciting Golden Guitar/The Age Music Victoria Award-winning force Lachlan Bryan And The Wildes. Along for the ride are the groovy alt-pop duo This Way North, talented alt-country group Sal Kimber & The Rollin’ Wheel, cheeky ‘junkrock’ aficionados Ute Root and acoustic indie-pop creator Simon Imrei. Rock up before 6pm and you can treat yourself to either an egg and bacon or egg and mushroom roll made with fresh free-range eggs for a mere $5 – and you can add a mouth-watering bloody mary to your meal for only $15.

Following them is Buried Feather, another psych-inspired band taking the sound to its cosmic outer limits. The night will close with local rock duo The Hunted Crows, a band known for their frenetic, crowd-pleasing stage presence.
