By The Pier is an offshoot of the ever-popular Queenscliff Music Festival, happening earlier in November. Taking place on a single outdoor stage, By The Pier offers fans a more laid back and intimate festival experience than its bigger sister.
Visitors can enjoy gourmet food trucks, bars and hot local talent while spending their idle hours exploring the gorgeous Bellarine Peninsula. Less than a two-hour drive from metro Melbourne, the festival makes a great excuse for a weekend getaway to one of Victoria’s sweetest seaside towns. Snap up one of Queenscliff’s many hotels, motels or holiday homes, and make sure to pack a beach towel.
Last year’s debut By The Pier event became a beloved fixture of the festival season, hosting the likes of San Cisco, Vera Blue and Julia Stone. Taking place during the last weekend of March, it’s the perfect way to soak up the last few rays of summer.
Queenscliff’s By the Pier festival will take place on March 24 and 25 2023. Limited early bird tickets will be released on November 25. General admission goes on sale November 30. For more information, head here.
