At long last, Melbourne’s favourite day party, BDK Fest, returns to the cities spiritual home of music, the Gasometer Hotel.
Teaming up this year with the good folks over at Music for Max, a full day of music is in store, filled with 15 bands as well as seven DJs handpicked by dance music juggernauts 188 Naarm.
Music for Max raises money in honor of the late Max Lee-Ack. Funds support instruments, music lessons and other associated grants to kids who would otherwise miss out. These are provided through Artists for Kids Culture (AKC), a registered charity which provides monetary grants for children to participate in artistic and cultural activities.
