BB SABINA’s music is an immersive experience, drenched in rich guitar tones and emotive lyricism that draws inspiration from living in Mparntwe (Alice Springs). In 2019, BB Sabina collaborated with ARIA-nominated producer Evelyn Ida Morris (Pikelet) to release her debut EP which received airplay on Double J and PBS.
Relocating to Naarm, BB Sabina (vocals, guitar, synth) is now joined by a new lineup- Warrick Newman (bass, vocals) and Travis Germaine (drums), bringing to life all the dimensions of BB Sabina’s music ranging from immersive psych-tinged dream pop to PJ Harvey inspired rock.
Town Ace are a noisy post-punk 4 piece hailing from the inner north. Getting together in 2017, the quartet have been driven by insistent rhythms and wiry guitars, releasing their debut album ‘Peers’ via Stargazed Records in 2022. They’ve been gigging heavily throughout 2023 with the likes of Winternationale, Carpal Tunnel Band, House of Light, Signal Chain, Hot Dog, Sudden Debt, Scuzzface, Genuine Fake, No Hoper and Heavy Toll.
