Completing his annual venture to source Europe’s best rock talent, James Young stumbled upon raucous female duo Bala and instantly fell in love. According to Young, “they sound like Patti Smith out the front of Motörhead and Kyuss at the same time.”
Letting Young bellow his admiration for Bala’s co-headline act, “Bottlecap are a Swedish three-piece high energy rock act who sound like the bastard triplets of The Hives and The Hellacopters with an added 2017 cheeky grin.”
Safe to say, Bala and Bottlecap are becoming luminaries within contemporary underground rock. They’ll explore Brisbane and Sydney alongside a special Melbourne visit.
