Doom-club antagonists AXON BREEZE (Lutruwita/Tasmania) force their way off the island and into The Tote Front Bar, Naarm/Melbourne on the afternoon of November 15 for SLIME CIRCUIT. In this intimate, fully improvised one-off, Axon Breeze drag their unholy pairing of the abyss and the dancefloor out into the daylight.

One afternoon of sensual, doom-paced crawling, this is the final iteration of the weekend’s experiences and their last offering in support of their debut LP ‘A Thriving Sky’. Each performance feeding a different creature.
SLIME CIRCUIT sees the duo joined by shoplifting-provocateur and iconic scallywag Elektronik Girl Epic (Penguin borne-Gopnik hardbass afficianado). Expect slow-crushing weight, mutant club throb and some low-level larceny, all wrapped into a one-off afternoon set. Mind your pockets.

Recorded across Australia, Guatemala and Mexico with co-producer Aaron Cupples (The Drones, Spiritualized), the album arrives after a year of radio play, festival acclaim and underground buzz.

A Thriving Sky explores the hidden ecology of beauty, where desire, violence and dependence are constantly at war. Live, Axon Breeze pushes at the edges of heavy music – intense bursts of post-punk and hyperpop bridged with unholy drawn-out passages of doom. Their world is organised around an inverted gothic: softness where you expect armour, sensuality where you expect force.

Doom-heads, club kids and petty criminals, welcome home.
