Awkward Giraffe’s Festival of Critical Comedy 2024

Awkward Giraffe’s Festival of Critical Comedy is about comedy which challenges preconceptions and expands the range of thought. Or tries to anyway.

The Festival includes acts as diverse as heavy metal humourist Steve Hughes and art comedy team Ridiculusmus Theatre. Steve Hughes will be on each evening after 8:30pm and Ridiculusmus Theatre will present the Australian premiere of their new play Alas! Poor Yorick at 7:45pm on Saturday and the informative presentation How To Be Funny at 5:30pm on Sunday. And many other fine comedians of different standpoints and styles, a creative ferment is projected.

BYO alcohol (or not), wheelchair access, food available, tickets at the door or through trybooking, more details at awkwardgiraffe.net.
Awkward Giraffe Inc is a not for profit formed in the wake of the untimely death of Melbourne comedian Eurydice Dixon to promote thoughtful comedy.
