Jon Stevens signs management deal with Ralph Carr Management.
Former Noiseworks vocalist, Jon Stevens, has put ink to paper in the new chapter of his expansive 20 year career. Stevens has joined artists such as Vanessa Amorosi and Paris Wells in signing a management deal with Ralph Carr Management.
Stevens’ resume includes rock bands, musical theatre and the olympics. His fronted popular Australian rock band, Noiseworks, starred in the theatre production of Jesus Christ Superstar, and wrote and performed the anthem for the 2000 Sydney Olympics, Carry That Flame. He even enjoyed a stint as the vocalist for INXS.
Says Stevens about Carr, “Having known and respected what Ralph has achieved over the years, I am really excited to be working with him and his team and really looking forward to the next phrase of my career. My new album is titled Changing Times, so I feel this is very appropriate!”
Carr added, "Having watched Jon over the years I always walked away from the live shows thinking he was one of the finest singers I have ever heard. I am thrilled to be part of this new chapter in his career. We look forward to helping Jon reach even greater heights."
Stevens will be writing and recording material to be released by an as yet undecided record label in the Summer of 2011.
