As part of Melbourne Fashion Week’s 2026 Independent Programme, ATELIER COLLARTS: COLLCEPT is a two-day event at Fractal Gallery.
It’s part concept store, part exhibition, part workshop space: a curated sustainable fashion store featuring pieces from Collarts Fashion students, alumni and staff, alongside a gallery exhibition and a live atelier programme running throughout.
The Opening Night on 23 October kicks off with an industry panel on sustainable fashion, featuring B-Corp certified brand ELK, nonprofit Thread Together, and Collarts’ own Fashion & Sustainability team. On day two, exhibiting designers and Collarts faculty are running mending and upcycling workshops, with a focus on craftsmanship and sustainable design.
