Ash Barty (former world no.1), Casey Dellacqua (former professional tennis player), Jim Courier (former world no.1), and Alicia Molik (former world no.8) descend on Bourke St in an iconic doubles match.
In a first for Melbourne, trams will be traded for tennis racquets as brands Myer & Mastercard bring energy and excitement back to the City of Melbourne when some of Australia’s most iconic players will descend on Bourke Street Mall, Melbourne’s most iconic shopping precinct.
Hailed ‘Match in the Mall’, the event will take place on a custom-made tennis court on Bourke Street Mall in front of Myer’s iconic Flagship Melbourne store, with local tram services suspended on Sunday, January 29.

The event will see Mastercard Ambassadors – Jim Courier (former world No.1), Alicia Molik (former world No.8), special guests, former professional tennis player and commentator Casey Dellacqua and former world No. 1 Ash Barty, take to the court for an iconic doubles match. Then, Myer Ambassador Kris Smith will try his hand at tennis against some legends of the game.
The event invites Mastercard card holders, MYER one members, VIP guests, Mastercard priceless competition winners and all Melburnians to attend, with lucky winners on the day given the opportunity to have a hit against some tennis greats and win Myer gift cards.
