Sydney three-piece Art vs Science announce all the details of their debut album

Art vs Science will release their hotly anticipated debut album The Experiment on February 25.

The Experiment builds on the excitement generated since the band’s inception, but expands the Art vs Science universe in a dizzying array of musical directions.

The album was recorded throughout 2010 in Sydney and Brisbane with Berkfinger, Magoo and Eric J Dubowsky, and mixed in the UK by Adrian Bushby (Two Door Cinema Club, Foo Fighters, Muse, Everything Everything).

This 13-track electro-pop album presents the many straight-to-the-jugular favourites (Higher, Take A Look At Your Face), but also sees the band develop a more sophisticated sound. The result is a head-spinning collage of sounds, ideas and characters that is utterly enthralling.

The Experiment contains both the lead single Magic Fountain (which recently achieved Gold status in the ARIA charts) and the new single Finally See Our Way.

Art vs Science are currently rehearsing for a London club tour in February, followed by a trip to Japan with MTV Australia. After their national festival dates with Future Music Festival and their support slots with The Chemical Brothers, Art vs Science will head over to Austin, Texas for the SXSW Music Festival, and embark on their first tour of the US.

This Sydney three-piece are playing with The Chemical Brothers at Rod Laver Arena on Wednesday March 9. The Experiment comes out on February 25.
