Arch Enemy announce Australian tour

Arch Enemy

Metalheads rejoice, Arch Enemy are headed back to Australia and New Zealand in February 2023 for a tour that includes a Melbourne show at The Forum.

Kerrang hailed the band’s new album “Deceivers slays from start to finish and is essential listening for metalheads yearning for a soundtrack to wring their necks to” so it’s little surprise to see the group return to Australian shores with some big venues in tow.

With Alissa White-Gluz out front for nearly ten years now, the guitar wizardry of Michael Amott and Jeff Loomis, and the thundering rhythm section of Daniel Erlandsson (drums) and Sharlee D’Angelo (bass), Arch Enemy will return in February next year.

Arch Enemy February 2023 tour dates

  • Sunday February 12 – Auckland – Powerstation
  • Tuesday February 14 – Adelaide – Governor Hindmarsh
  • Wednesday February 15 – Brisbane – Tivoli Theatre
  • Friday February 17 – Sydney – Metro Theatre
  • Saturday February 18 – Melbourne – Forum Theatre
  • Sunday February 19 – Fremantle – Metropolis

The tour comes over five years after Arch Enemy frontwoman White-Gluz announced a solo project simply titled Alissa, with her debut record released worldwide via Napalm Records. “It is a welcome creative outlet to unlock all of my lyrical and musical vaults with zero restriction or pressure to conform to any particular style or era,” White-Gluz said at the time.

“I also pay close attention to what my fans want – I haven’t been ignoring the consistent requests for my clean singing voice. With Angela Gossow as management and Napalm Records just as passionate as I am about this new project, I’m fortunate to have found a home amongst friends and colleagues who are supportive and encouraging of my full musical spectrum. This album will also feature members of the Arch Enemy family, both current and past, as well as many of the other great artists I have had the pleasure of sharing a stage with throughout my career.”

Presale: Wednesday 12 October at 9:30 AM AEDT. General public on sale: Thursday 12 October at 11:00AM AEDT Tickets here.
