Aplegate is a 5-piece improvised psychedelic rock band from Central Vic, based in Narrm/Melbourne. Drawing inspiration from psych rock, jazz and the
jam band scene, live performances manifest as a continual fluid set. Comfortably at home in a bush doof, or, on a big stage, Aplegate specialise in live improvisation, feeding from the energy of the crowd, interwoven with songs and arrangements that are melodic and moving.
