Toronto songwriter Andy Shauf is set to return to Australia for a solo tour in 2024, with performances scheduled in Melbourne, Ballarat, Castlemaine, Eltham, Brisbane, Mapleton, Sydney, and Perth.
This tour comes on the heels of his eighth album, Norm, released through Anti-.
Shauf, celebrated as a gifted storyteller for albums like The Party (2016) and The Neon Skyline (2020), continues to push the boundaries of his craft with Norm. Known for his albums that unfold like short fiction, filled with colorful characters and emotional depth, Shauf has added new layers and perspectives to his songwriting. Norm presents a collection of jazz-inflected romantic ballads, where Shauf’s storytelling takes on a more oblique tone, hinting at ominous situations and dark motivations.
