Nestled into Barkly Square’s quaint laneway precinct, the silent cinema offers a diverse mix of arthouse, modern and family-friendly films, kicking off with the all-time classic Home Alone.
Being a silent cinema, punters will be kitted out with state-of-the-art headphones, as well as enjoying films on a five-metre-wide screen. Capping it off comes deck chairs and beverages available at neighboring Zambrero alongside Jerry’s Burgers & Fried Chicken. Barkly Square’s Roll’d and Poh’s Kitchen will also be on hand to feed hungry bellies.
Films on offer include Whiplash, The Big Lebowski, Amelie, Donnie Darko and more.
