Alpine embark on their first headline tour in February, and to celebrate this they are giving away a remixed version of their track ‘Heartlove’.
Adding colour to Melbourne’s musical landscape, indie-pop six-piece Alpine formed in 2009 and have gone from strength-to-strength ever since.
And they are now about to light up venues in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Adelaide as they embark on their very first headline tour.
Fusing synths with honeyed harmonies, hynotic rhythms and bright beats, Alpine appeared on the scene with a bunch of demos that quickly caught the attention of music lovers across the nation.
Last year saw the release of their debut EP Zurich, as well as tours with Cloud Control, Jinja Safari, The Naked and Famous, Tim and Jean, and Catcall, plus a month-long residency at the Northcote Social Club.
Alpine will hit the road to officially launch Zurich next month, before setting off on tour with Sparkadia and Operator Please.
To celebrate their first headline tour, the band are giving away a remix of their track Heartlove, mixed by former tour buddies Fishing. Download it for free from Alpine’s Soundcloud page at soundcloud.com/alpineband.
Alpine play in Melbourne on Friday February 25, with guests Boy in a Box and Buchannan. It all happens at the Corner Hotel. Doors open at 8.30pm. Tickets $12 presale here, or $15 at the door.
