For the first time, Alice Andersen and band will grace the stage at the lush George Lane in St Kilda. Alice is an emerging alt-folk artist from Narrm/Melbourne, and in August she released her first EP, ‘Blue’. Produced by Vashti Sivell and engineered by Roger Bergodaz (Tex Perkins, Freya Josephine Hollick), the EP traverses folk, country and jazz, all woven together by the thread of Andersen’s smooth and warm vocal. Alice will be playing songs from the freshly released EP as well as some new ones too.

Beacs is an alt-folk-rock artist from Narrm/Melbourne whose sound is inspired by the wistful melancholy of ’60s and ’70s songwriting and balladeers. His debut release “Motel Maybe” plays with the theme of expectations and idealised romance and is the first track from his forthcoming EP due to be released in the new year.
