In an era where festival tickets can cost more than a small car, Aireys Inlet Festival continues to be the people's champion of the music scene, dropping a monster lineup for its 19th edition that won't break the bank.
Set against the backdrop of Victoria’s stunning Surf Coast, this three-day sonic adventure will run from March 14-16, 2025, with tickets at an almost criminal $80.
Leading the charge is soul powerhouse Kutcha Edwards, whose velvet vocals will be echoing through the coastal hamlet alongside blues maestro CW Stoneking and the unstoppable force that is Queenie. In a major coup for the festival, Tendrils – featuring the legendary pairing of Joel Silbersher and Charlie Owen – will be bringing their raw energy to the shoreline stages.

Local heroes The Vasco Era are set to return with their trademark coastal chaos, while Melbourne’s reggae kings King Canoe will be laying down smooth riddims under the stars. For those seeking pure nostalgic euphoria, BABBA will be unleashing their supernatural ABBA powers on the unsuspecting crowd.
The festival’s creative director, Patrick Donovan, is clearly stoked about what’s in store. “This festival pulls together the best of the coastal community spirit, an incredibly broad mix of talented artists and the rugged beauty of the surfcoast,” he says. “To provide such an experience to music lovers, all for $80 over three days is a credit to the town, the volunteers, and our funding partners.”
Spread across five venues including the iconic Aireys Pub, The Lighthouse Café and Sunnymead Motel, the festival transforms this sleepy coastal town – just 90 minutes from Melbourne – into a vibrant musical playground. With support from Music Victoria and Creative Victoria, plus an army of dedicated locals offering everything from their time to their spare rooms, this grassroots gathering continues to prove that you don’t need deep pockets to create magic.
The full lineup reads like a who’s who of Australia’s underground scene, featuring Hana & Jesse Lee’s Bad Habits, Owelu Dream House, The Counterfeit, Cool Out Son, The Casanovas, and Ben Mastwyk and his Millions, among others. Local talents including Indie Wylie, The Repores and The Reef Rats ensure the hometown spirit remains strong.
Better move quick on those tickets though – at these prices, they won’t be hanging around long.
