The Essential Anime Heroines festival will screen an expansive list of anime films that feature fearless and resilient female characters in popular culture.
The screenings consist of Hayao Miyazaki’s Arrietty, My Neighbour Totoro, Princess Mononoke, Spirited Away, as well as Mamoru Hosoda’s Summer Wars and The Girl Who Leapt Through Time.
