Muso is set to curate 500 live shows at 100 locations nationwide across the months of June and July, championing live music, artists and the fans that support them.

After months of organising, Muso, Australia’s locally-founded live entertainment booking and management platform, has finally announced the line-up and venues for their highly anticipated Rise of the Pub Gig tour.

Kicking off this month, the tour features some of Australia’s most loved and emerging local artists at a number of the nation’s favourite pubs and venues including The Chippo Hotel (Sydney), Lazybones Lounge (Sydney), Lucky Coq (Melbourne), Imperial Hotel (Melbourne), Kings Beach Tavern (Sunshine Coast), Regatta Hotel (Brisbane), Parkside Hotel (Adelaide), The Aviary (Perth) and many more.

For music lovers eager to get down to their local shows, a full line-up for the tour can be found on the Muso website which is being updated daily with new gigs so be sure to keep checking in.

Back on track after being rescheduled due to COVID, Muso is set to curate 500 live shows at 100 locations nationwide across the months of June and July, championing live music, artists and the fans that support them.

Launched to help re-establish local live music across the country, with support from Creative Victoria, The City of Sydney and the Australian Government’s RISE Fund, Rise of The Pub Gig will re-invigorate the classic “pub gig” fans love, while also giving back to venues and placing artists firmly in the spotlight at many adored local establishments.

Alan Jin, Muso COO and co-founder said, “Ever since COVID hit, we’ve been working on a plan to bring local live music back to the Australian stage. Like everyone who loves a gig, we’ve been waiting for this moment for a long time — seeing the 500 shows now come to life is hugely rewarding. We can’t wait to join thousands of Aussies as they cheer on the incredible talent featured in the tour’s lineup at so many iconic spots.”

Providing fans with two months of unforgettable experiences, participating Victorian venues include Penny’s Bandroom in Brunswick, Prince Alfred in Melbourne, Wandi Pub in Wandiligong, The Red Hill Hotel in Chewton, The Shed Theatre at Main Ridge, Delatite Hotel in Mansfield, Sarah Sands in Melbourne, and Colour in Carlton, among many many more.

Some of the artists announced for the Victorian run include Aila Fei, Jimmy O’Hare, Izzy Day, Jamie MacDowell, Adam Sassi, Chantelle Beale, Jo Jodun, Le Fleur, Simon Phillips, Zac Shepherd, Romanie, Acton Wickens, Seb Szabo, Emma Volard, ALZZY, and Rogerson, among many others.
