Don your best jungle-themed formal wear, because Safari Ball is putting a literal spin on the term ‘fancy dress’. Taking place within the extravagant Fitzroy Town Hall, this is set to be a party like no other.
With entertainment encompassing circus performers, burlesque, contortionists and much more, there won’t be a dull moment. Especially since it will all be backed by an assortment of DJs, alongside a live set from reggae dancehall ensemble Mista Savona.
Safari Ball will also make sure you don’t go home empty-handed, with raffles and prizes for best dressed to be won – so get creative, it’s not every day you’re encouraged to wear animal print at a black-tie event.
Hosted by Mike Makatron of Everfresh Studio and Ariana Leane of BSIDE Gallery, you can bet this will be an immersive experience you won’t soon forget.
You won’t go thirsty, either, with a tasty selection of sips from Pirate Life Brewing, Payten and Jones, and Four Pillars Gin on offer behind the bar, as well as a selection of nibbles.
It’s going to be a night of roaring fun.
