Transforming a former bingo and fresh food hall on the Preston Market site, the project aims to raise the bar on the north side with offerings from Henriettas Chicken Shop, Filipino street food masters Hoy Pinoy, Melbourne’s original craft beer purveyors 3 Ravens Brewery and the latest burger venture from chef Andy Gale, Meet Patty.
The building lay empty for several years before 17 of Melbourne’s finest street artists spent three days transforming it. Many of the pieces on show are world first collaborations.
The project aims to bring a little life to the very traditional market in the lead up to major refurbishment works over the next two years.
