A Miami-themed underground roller disco is coming to Collingwood this month

Roll on down.

After a brief hiatus, Collingwood’s beloved Underground Roller Disco will return this month. Transporting skaters to Miami’s famous South Beach, the tropical party will feature tunes, food, drink and lots more fun.

Helping you get your groove on, a huge slate of DJs will be slinging house, disco, and soul tunes across the afternoon and into the evening. The bill features international acts Brooklyn Terry (Tokyo) and Dean Zepherin (London) alongside homegrown disc jockeys Jimmy James, Chris NG, Greg Molinaro, Colette, and Le Soul live with Joshua Tavares and Carmen Hendricks.

Taking over the underground carpark at the Collingwood commission housing, the roller disco looks to break down social barriers while putting profits back into the community.

If you don’t own skates but want to get in on the action, don’t worry, there will be skate hire available. There’ll also be a bar onsite as well as giveaways, an activity zone and loads more to keep you entertained.

Collingwood Underground Roller Disco is happening on Saturday February 22 at 44 Harmsworth Street, Collingwood from 3pm until 11pm. Tickets are available on the door, for more information, visit the Facebook event page
