A Melbourne Symphony Orchestra gift voucher is the perfect Christmas present for any music lover

words by tom parker

The MSO has a huge 2021 season ahead of them.

In October, the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra announced their huge 2021 season, boasting over 100 events, including eight world premieres, 12 Australian premieres, 24 soloists and seven works commissioned by the MSO.

Running from January to June, the MSO will kick off part one of their 2021 season with the beloved Sidney Myer Free Concert series. Welcoming homegrown conductors and guest soloists, the Sidney Myer Free Concert series will see the MSO collaborating with the likes of Paul Grabowsky AO, Birds of Tokyo, The Bamboos, Fantasia in Concert, and Meow Meow.

To complement their bumper 2021 season, the MSO has also launched its new digital platform MSO.LIVE, bringing special concert events, talks and experiences to audiences at home. You can find out more about that here.

To ensure that punters can capitalise on the events ahead, the MSO have their own gift vouchers available at their website. Standing as the perfect Christmas present, punters can name your own price for the voucher, and it can be sent to you or to the gift recipient via email. You can even write a short personal message.
