The Queen Victoria Market is hosting the Pacific semi-finals of the Concurs Internacional de Paella Valenciana where the world’s finest connoisseurs of Valencia’s famous rice dish will lock horns for the chance to travel to Spain.
There they will compete for the world’s ultimate paella title. The competition comes in conjunction with a full-blown festival; stalls, food and an amateur cook-off will also be going down. Anyone can enter and the winner will win a bunch of goodies, including a $500 dinner at Simply Spanish.
