Based on a best-selling series of books by Julia Quinn, the Netflix adaptation of the regency romance Bridgerton became a smash hit after the release of its first season in 2020. A historical-romance series, it centres on the socially powerful Bridgerton family’s eight close-knit siblings and their attempts to find love in Regency era England.

A historical fantasy, the series takes many gleeful concessions in regards to historical accuracy – including string quartet versions of popular songs such as Ariana Grande’s ‘Thank U, Next’, Billie Eilish’s ‘Bad Guy’, Nirvana’s ‘Stay Away’ and Madonna’s ‘Material Girl’. These recognisable tunes are interspersed with modern adaptations of classical music – including Vivaldi’s ‘The Four Seasons’ and Bach’s ‘Cello Suite No. 6 in D Major’.
With the second season of the show being the most watched English-language television series on Netflix (grossing 656.16 million hours in its first 28 days of release!), Bridgerton continues to skyrocket in popularity.
Tickets for the Bridgerton Ball start at $209 each, you can either book the afternoon session that runs from noon until 4pm or the evening session that runs from 7pm until 11pm.
The Bridgerton Ball takes place on September 17. Secure your tickets to this event by heading here.
