For the ultimate in classy school holidays entertainment, the Australian Centre for the Moving Image is combining forces with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra to present the film Peter and the Wolf. Profokiev’s powerful score will be played live by the MSO at each screening, allowing audiences to peek into the world of orchestral music of this children’s classic. Nominated for a BAFTA and winning the Oscar for Best Animated Short Film, Suzie Templeton’s state-of-the-art stop motion recreation will not leave any age-group wanting.
