Punk band Pussy Riot not only shard their track ‘Elections’, they released a video for it too. Posting the video on the Russian election day, March 17, via Twitter.

In February, two members of the all-female Russian band had allegedly disappeared in Crimea for a day. After being harassed by police, leaving police custody and heading to the airport, Olga Borisova and Sasha Sofeyev disappeared. Alarmed by the girls vanishing, their colleagues raised the alarm before later the same day announcing that the girls had been found despite being detained several times and having their phones and computers broken.

Pussy Riot rose to fame in 2012, after staging a punk protest against Vladimir Putin in a Moscow church. Three members of the band were arrested with two members staying in jail for over a year.
