Stoner doom legends Sleep are gracing our shores for the first time since 2014.
Icons of the ever-popular stoner doom genre, these guys helped start it all. With a sound that is reminscent of an even more stoned Black Sabbath, if that’s possible, their shows are a sludgey trip through a desert of smoke and Iommi-style bone-rattling riffage.
Their 1991 debut album, Volume One, was met with critical acclaim. They then went on to release its sequel as an EP before tearing through with follow-up LPs, Sleep’s Holy Mountain and Jerusalem in ensuing years.
