Dethklok mastermind Brendon Small has unleashed a brand new track cut from his upcoming album, Galaktikon II: Become The Storm, which is due out Friday August 25 via Megaforce Records/MRI. The new single, My Name Is Murder, is available via all streaming platforms. Galaktikon II: Become The Storm follows the space-age theme of 2012’s original Galaktikon album, with a conceptual storyline and a heavier, darker, more brutal sound.

Perth cerebral metallers Nucleust have recently completed recording their full-length debut called Terra Cerebral, due for release on Friday July 28 via Rockpit Records. The first single to come off the album is Lullaby Paranoia.

Goatwhore have released Vengeful Ascension on Metal Blade. The band’s seventh full-length offering was captured at Earth Analog in Tolono, Illinois with longtime soundman and comrade Jarrett Pritchard (1349, Gruesome). Perth metal band Cursed Earth has signed withUNFD. One of the fastest rising bands in Australian heavy music, Cursed Earth have been pummelling ears all over Australia since 2013 and their introduction to the rest of the world comes via the Cycles of Grief Volume 1: Growth EP, set for release on Friday August 4. Through EP Vae Mortis and a split with Burning Season (collected on Enslaved By The Insignificant, released worldwide by Death’s Grip / Holy Roar) they established themselves as unflinching documenters of the darkest corners of human nature.

Brisbane’s As Paradise Falls have premiered their new video for song Dead Message via Heavy Magazine. This is the second music video from their forthcoming full-length Digital Ritual. The video was produced by Ben Wrigley at Third Eye Visuals, and the album was produced by Shane Edwards (Northlane, Trophy Eyes, Hellions). “This song explores communication in the digital age, and how so many interactions between friends occur online” guitarist Danny Kenneally says.

 

Australian metal legends Frankenbok return with a triumphant new album Vicious, Lawless on Friday July 14. Setting the tone for the release is the track Stalker Stalker, which has lyrics based around the personal experiences of the band’s guitarist Azza Bok.
