With questionable skills and ancient rivalries, both teams will take to the field for a footy match in an effort to take home the prestigious cup and, most importantly, to raise money for Reclink Australia.
The Rockdogs will feature Music Victoria and My Dynamite’s Nick Cooper as captain and co-vice-captains Glenn Maynard and Kate Boston-Smith while PBS and RRR’s Megahertz will feature disco aficionado and PBS ‘Smoke and Mirrors’ presenter CC:Disco! alongside co-captains Chris Gill and Beth Atkinson-Quinton.
Past favourites Benny Walker, Ash Naylor, Dave Larkin, Johnny Rock, Mikey Cahill and Keats Mulligen will don their guernseys once more while Bec Goring, Ruby Koomen, Rose Watson, and Helena Holmes are set to make their Cup debut.
The event will feature live performances from Spiderbait, The Peep Tempel, Jen Cloher, REMI, Deborah Conway, Willy Zygier and She Said Zed to top off the festivities.
Funds raised will help Reclink Australia provide sport, recreation and arts programs for disadvantaged community members with the event raising more than $100,000 annually thanks to loyal volunteers and more than 10,000 visitors.
