Friday kicks things off with the ethereal Milly Strange and Naarm-based rockers Floodlights, before Australian rock legends Spiderbait take over the Riverboats stage to close out opening night.
Saturday brings a huge day of music with country icon Fanny Lumsden, as well as Kaitlin Keegan, Melbourne soul scene luminary Ella Thompson, Mulga Bore Hard Rock and legendary singer/songwriter Henry Wagons, leading into a headline set by festival favourites The Cat Empire, returning for the first time since 2014.
Sunday sees New Zealand-born, Manchester-based folk artist Nadia Reid, Claire Anne Taylor, and Frankston rock’n’roll heroes The Gnomes, followed by country great Troy Cassar-Daley, before much-loved folk trio The Waifs bring Riverboats’ 15th anniversary weekend to a close.
As always, MC Brian Nankervis (Rockwiz) will be there to steer the ship across all three days.

There’s plenty happening beyond the main stage in 2027, too.
Riverboats Yoga makes its debut, with sessions at the Port of Echuca on Saturday and Sunday mornings.
And of course, the festival’s much-loved paddlesteamer sideshows return with a bumper program aboard the 110-year-old PS Pevensey.
Catch intimate performances by Aussie hip-hop icons The Herd, Felix Riebl, folk duo Pierce Brothers and more as the historic paddlesteamer cruises down the Murray. These small-capacity shows have become one of the great Riverboats traditions, and tickets tend to disappear quickly.
Despite significant changes in the festival landscape over the past 15 years, Riverboats remains proudly independent, proudly regional and one of the most affordable music festivals on the calendar.
Three-day adult tickets are just $260, with single-day and kids tickets available at a seriously good price.
With Riverboats celebrating 15 years and bringing another brilliant line-up to Echuca-Moama, tickets are expected to move quickly when they go on sale Thursday, October 8 at 9am. Grab yours early, book a place to stay and get excited for three days of great music and laid-back, good times by the river.
With plenty of accommodation, pubs, restaurants and cafes within walking distance of the festival site – plus unlimited pass-outs so you can come and go as you please – Riverboats is a breezy country weekend away for the whole crew. Don’t miss it.
