Great music, a drink on arrival and a pretty important reason to get together.
Join us at Brunswick Ballroom for a special night with Close Counters, bringing their signature mix of house, soul, jazz and club sounds to the decks for Save Scott Reef.
For just $10, Your Ticket Gets You Entry Plus A Drink On Arrival. Come with your mates, hit the dance floor and be part of a night bringing people together around the campaign to save Scott Reef from big gas drilling and protect an extraordinary marine ecosystem off the Kimberley coast.
This isn’t your standard campaign event. It’s a chance to have a genuinely great night out, learn more about what’s happening at Scott Reef and take a simple action to help protect it.
Naarm/Melbourne electronic duo Close Counters have built a reputation for dance music that blends house, soul, jazz and broken beat.
Their 2025 album LOVERS DANCE ACADEMY climbed to #3 on the ARIA Jazz & Blues Albums Chart, earning support from Double J, BBC Radio 1Xtra, 6Music, KEXP, RRR and PBS.
They’ve taken their sound around the world, playing Glastonbury, Love Supreme, The Great Escape and two sold-out shows at Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club, alongside Australian favourites including Meredith Music Festival, Falls Festival, Strawberry Fields and Party in the Paddock.
Described by triple j’s Tommy Faith as “Australia’s version of Kaytranada”, Close Counters are bringing a special DJ set to Brunswick Ballroom for the night.
