Jordan Rakei is packing his bags for the Antipodes, with a four-stop tour across Australia and New Zealand.
The run arrives hot on the heels of A Safe Place To Be Wild, Jordan Rakei’s seventh studio album, out 30 October via Fontana. The record leans into self-acceptance, vulnerability and creative freedom, stripping his sound back to raw feeling and unfiltered moments.
The New Zealand-born, Australian-raised and London-based multi-instrumentalist and producer has spent more than a decade folding neo-soul warmth, jazz-inflected improvisation and alternative R&B into a sound that’s entirely his own.

Much of A Safe Place To Be Wild took shape during Jordan Rakei’s year as the first artist in residence at Abbey Road Studios, along with sessions at the home studio he built outside London. Its first single, Enemies, is already out, swinging into a warm, playful 1970s psych-soul groove.
He’s a serial collaborator too, having worked with Loyle Carner, Tom Misch, Nubya Garcia and Ezra Collective’s Femi Koleoso, plus Jungle’s Tom McFarland and Jalen Ngonda. His live history runs from Glastonbury to two sold-out nights at London’s Royal Albert Hall.
The new album follows 2024’s The Loop, Jordan Rakei’s sixth, which picked up a Best Album nomination at the 2025 Ivor Novello Awards. Presale kicks off at 4:30pm AEST on 5 August, with general tickets following at the same time on 6 August.
