Queenscliff Music Festival’s early birds on now after presale sells out

Queenscliff Music Festival 2026 has released its early bird tickets after the initial presale sold out.

Queenscliff Music Festival is gearing up for another seaside takeover of the Bellarine Peninsula, and the demand is already building fast. The festival’s presale allocation sold out within days, and early bird tickets to Queenscliff Music Festival 2026 are now available through Moshtix.

The not-for-profit festival returns to Wadawurrung Country from 27 to 29 November, once again transforming the historic Victorian seaside town into a three-day celebration of live music, arts and community. Sitting just 90 minutes from Melbourne and 35km from Geelong, Queenscliff has hosted the annual event since 1997, making it one of the longest-running music festivals in the state.

What to expect at the Bellarine Peninsula festival

Festival director Claire Stickland said planning for the 2026 edition is well underway. “Queenscliff Music Festival is all about music, creativity, community and place, with the spirit of Queenscliff at its heart,” Stickland said. “Planning for 2026 is shaping up to be a huge year.”

The 2025 edition brought packed stages, comedy heavyweights and immersive art installations to the coastal town, while a floating ferry stage hosted intimate performances on the bay. Previous lineups have featured The Cat Empire, Thelma Plum, Cosmic Psychos and The Waifs, and organisers are promising another carefully curated program spanning big names and emerging talent.

Why Queenscliff sells out fast

As a registered not-for-profit, QMF channels its proceeds back into year-round arts and cultural initiatives on the Bellarine, including its Music Industry Kickstarter Grant for emerging professionals. The community-driven model has kept the Victorian music festival intimate — and it means tickets tend to move quickly.

Accommodation in Queenscliff and surrounding areas is expected to book out fast, with camping, glamping and nearby towns like Point Lonsdale, Portarlington and Geelong offering alternatives. With Victoria’s festival calendar already stacking up for the second half of 2026, and grassroots events expanding across the state, locking in your Queenscliff weekend early is the move.

Further lineup and program announcements will follow in the coming months.
