Indie rock trio Santa Ana Rodeo will embark on their first Australian tour this May, bringing their blend of indie rock, blues, and surf-tinged songwriting across the country from Adelaide to North Queensland.
The Australian Regional Tour, beginning May 7 in Adelaide and concluding July 1 in Mission Beach, will see the band perform across a wide range of cities and coastal towns, highlighting their love for grassroots touring and live performance.
Originally formed while studying at the University of Colorado Boulder, Santa Ana Rodeo consists of three longtime friends whose shared love of music and travel helped shape the band’s identity. After building a strong following in Colorado, the group began expanding their
live reach with a regional U.S. tour spanning from Colorado to Oregon and through California.
The band has built a reputation for energetic live shows and strong audience engagement, selling out their hometown venue The Fox Theatre in Boulder multiple times and sharing stages with artists including Sunroom and Sarah and the Sundays.
Santa Ana Rodeo released their debut EP “Crooked Company”, which introduced their mix of indie rock melodies and blues-influenced guitar work. The band is currently finishing their debut full-length album, “Farewell for Now”, scheduled for release later this year.
Notable venues include Dulcie’s Cottage, Mo’s Desert Clubhouse, Ward’s Brewery, Narrow Tracks Distilling, The Garage Bar & Brewhouse, and The Tin Shed.
Santa Ana Rodeo’s music is available on all streaming platforms.
