This August, Revolver revs its engines with rock‘n’roll chaos, a legendary UK DJ and much more

Revolver does winter right.

After so many years in the game, the venue knows that the only way to keep yourself warm through the long nights and chilly days of a Melbourne winter is to pump yourself full of drinks and dance until you can’t feel your feet.

Its iconic Thick as Thieves Winter Series is a prime example, welcoming international heavyweights to the decks to keep the energy up and the vibes right until morning. Plus, they’ve got live metal-pop, RnB soul and straight up rock ‘n’ roll on the calendar this month as well.

Intrigued? You should be.

Banks Arcade brings their genre‑defying heavy metal‑pop fusion to Revs, riding high on the energy of their single Vipers. They’re joined by Sydney’s Deficit and Closure for a night of raw catharsis and chaotic riffs.

“We’ve built something really special with this set,” says Banks Arcade frontman Joshua O’Donnell. “ Our new music is heavy and chaotic and we want to build this tour around small shows that will encapsulate that energy.”

Deep Dance Collective x Revolver Fridays

Deep Dance Collective teams up with Revolver Fridays on the first of the month, running from 10pm until the morning after. Starting at midnight on the stage, you’ll catch sets from Kid Business, Bby Cass, Ed Kent, Mimosa, Edan, HG and DJ Wise, delivering deep, groovy house that keeps the vibe sublime.

Meanwhile, from 10pm in the Cage, residents Henry Who, Bex, Mike Callander, Michaél Beaty and Kiti keep the party flowing until breakfast with a legendary Rise & Shine set from Sunshine. Get in early for free entry.
