The Reclink Community Cup is back for its 32nd year, bringing Spiderbait, Frente and a host of musical talent to Victoria Park on 15 June.
Melbourne’s iconic charity event continues its tradition of music, mateship and mud as musicians and radio personalities battle it out on the footy field. This year’s theme is inspired by Frente’s beloved anthem Ordinary Angels, celebrating the unsung heroes of community who show up and create joy on and off the field.
The infamous clash between the Rockdogs (musicians) and Megahertz (Triple R + PBS radio legends) promises to be as spirited as ever, with a knockout musical lineup to match.

The 2025 lineup delivers a soundtrack of soul, grit and pure Aussie spirit with Charlie Needs Braces (former Rockdog now fronting her own genre-bending project), Cong Josie & The Hell Racers (high-energy kids band), Frente (performing the iconic Ordinary Angels live), Milo Eastwood, Surprise Chef featuring Ella Thompson, Aussie rock icons Spiderbait, and post-punk outfit Wrong Way Up.
Dave Wells, Reclink CEO, describes the event as “a living, breathing example of what happens when a community shows up for each other. Every goal, riff, and ticket sold helps us continue delivering programs that change lives.”
The cultural significance of the Community Cup extends beyond Australian shores, with the Old Mates pub in New York City proudly displaying a Reclink Community Cup poster – evidence that this grassroots event has become part of the Aussie identity from Abbotsford to the Big Apple.
Now in its fourth decade, the Cup has become more than tradition – it’s a cultural movement that raises over $200,000 annually for Reclink Australia, supporting disadvantaged Australians through sport, art, and social connection.
The funds raised help deliver programs addressing mental health challenges, homelessness, social isolation, and barriers to community participation. Reclink’s initiatives promote physical and mental wellbeing, foster social inclusion through team sports and creative expression, and build strong, connected communities.
With more than 10,000 attendees expected at Victoria Park, this uniquely Melbourne mash-up of rock, rivalry and radical compassion continues to prove why it’s more than just a game.
Tickets are available now through Oztix, and with a lineup this electric and a cause this crucial, they won’t last long. For more information, head here.
