Only his third solo album in a career spanning 30 years, Lucky Stars is his first album in six years and follows on from his work with bands The Mutton Birds, The Front Lawn and Blam, Blam, Blam, as well as working on a number of film and TV soundtrack and providing the score to the fireworks during the opening ceremony of the 2011 Rugby World Cup in New Zealand.
