INSÆN

Four bands. Two new singles. One insane night.

INSÆN hit the stage at Nighthawks on November 29th! Celebrating two new singles coming November 1st and 15th, the explosive rock and metal quintet finish off the year with a bang.
Appearing alongside them will be the charismatic alt-rockers The Valiants, vibrant pop-punk rocker Chloe Booth, and tasteful, metalcore breakdown-ers Rise From Ashes, rounding out this formidable lineup.

After grinding to a halt for an indefinite hiatus in May, INSÆN (formerly ‘Dylan’s Omens’) announce they are returning to the insanity of their live shows on November 29th. After a year of radio slots, festivals, Battle Of The Band wins, and an outrageous amount of blood, sweat and rock ‘n’ roll, INSÆN are coming back swinging with not just one new single, but two, to be released November 1st and 15th respectively. These new pieces will show the band’s first steps into an uncharted territory of heavy music; with a focus on creating music that imitates the darkest, rawest inner motions of the human experience, these new tunes are guaranteed to get anyone jumping, dancing, singing, or even moshing. So, to prove it? Nighthawks, Collingwood, on November 29th; INSÆN are holding their double-single launch show, so don’t miss out – get your tickets now.

Kicking off the night, The Valiants! Establishing themselves as one of Melbourne’s most exciting and refined acts, the alt-rockers are a sound to be reckoned with. With a signature style that ranges from grandiose, suave rock ballads, to frantic and electrifying stage shows that had them opening for L7 at three sold-out shows, The Valiants simply tantalise every crowd they stand before.

Next up: Chloe Booth. The pop-punk inspired rocker has quickly garnered the status of ‘local legend,’ and it’s clear why. Her latest single ‘Backseat’ was aptly named ‘an anthemic blast of pop vibrancy’ by *ahem* Backseat Mafia, and was as if Olivia Rodrigo had a child with The 1979, which was then taught to play guitar by Haim. To continue our sublime lineup, Chloe Booth!

Finally, make some noise for our final act before our headliners, Rise From Ashes! Officially forming in 2023, the modern-metal quintet has had one hell of a year, with four singles out in less than 12 months. Sharing the stage with the likes of I Built The Sky and Ghostseeker, it’s clear that Rise From Ashes’ raw vocals, choppy riffs, head-bangin’ drum work, and tasteful breakdowns put them on the forefront for the best generation of Melbourne’s heavy scene. Prepare… to Rise From Ashes.

And, of course, your headliners: INSÆN. The quintet has built up a very solid reputation as, without question, one of Melbourne’s best live bands. From climbing the rafters, to impossible stage-dives, to walls-of-death and anything and everything imaginable between, an INSÆN show is much more than a show: It’s an experience. With music Happy Mag called ‘blissfully noisy,’ ‘thunderous,’ ‘raucous,’ ‘riotous,’ with ‘vocal riffs uttered as if from the depths of hell,’ it’s hard to imagine how the band can replicate the insanity found within their music. But, as you’ll see on November 29th, the insanity is not only replicated, but perfectly captured by the undeniably talented band members. And once that first song hits, it’s even harder to resist the energy in the room, and you’re left within the experience, swept up in the dancing, jumping, and screaming. It’s an experience we want you to be a part of.
Witness the insanity.
