Multi-platinum hip-hop legend and the most successful independent rapper of all time, Tech N9ne, is set to return to Australia and New Zealand in March 2025.

Joining him on tour will be special guest Joey Cool, a rising star from Strange Music’s diverse roster. Tech N9ne, known for his ferocious “double time” rapping and boundary-pushing music, has been a force in hip-hop since the 90s. His live shows, filled with high-energy and sonic chaos, have made him a fan favourite. Averaging 100 live performances a year, Tech credits his success to his dedicated fans, whom he calls his “family.”

Tech’s 2022 hit Face Off, featuring Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, King ISO, and Joey Cool, brought massive success, further solidifying his place in hip-hop. Joey Cool, hailed as a “hidden gem” of the Strange Music label, will be joining Tech N9ne on this tour.

As the co-founder of Strange Music, Tech built a powerhouse label that has allowed him to maintain full creative control over his career. Known for his rapid-fire, complex rhymes, often referred to as “chopper” style, he has gained a reputation as one of the most technically skilled rappers in the game. Albums like Anghellic and Everready helped him establish a dedicated fanbase, while later releases like Something Else and Special Effects showcased his evolution as an artist, blending genres and pushing the boundaries of hip-hop.

Tech N9ne’s live performances are a cornerstone of his success. He’s famous for his high-energy shows, performing with a theatrical flair that includes intricate lighting, costume changes, and powerful crowd engagement. Known for his relentless touring schedule—sometimes performing more than 100 shows a year—Tech has built a deeply loyal following. His dedication to the road and his fans, whom he affectionately refers to as his “Technicians,” has kept him relevant in an industry that is often hard for independent artists to navigate.
