What’s BTTB?
Back to the Beats DJs (BTTB DJs) is a collective of Street Dancers turned DJs assembled by b-girl/Producer/DJ Naru. Originally hailing from Kansai, Japan, Naru built her reputation as a killer Breaker and all-round Club and Dance Battle DJ. Combined with the talents of her cohorts, DJs Antagonize, Tententen & FavSon9, BTTB DJs are a reckoning force of Dance Battle DJs each with their own flavour in Soul, Funk, Hiphop, RnB, House, b-boy Breaks (Deep Funk, Latin Funk, Jazz Funk, Latin Jazz, Disco, Psychedelic Rock).
Combined with the emerging underground sounds from across the globe, you’d be hard-pressed to find music they play that you couldn’t rock to, especially when their ear is influenced by their dance battle prowess.
Don’t be shocked to hear, World Music, Amapiano, UK Funky, Drill, DnB, EDM, Acid House, Liquid, Grime, Baile Funk, Funk Carioca, Polynesian Log Drumming, Filipino Urban, Japanese City Pop, Chinese Funk and Future Beats and everything in between, all in it’s own eclectic mix of 4 DJ’s mixing and layering vibes all
together at the same time for an experience you can’t feel anywhere else.
