Australasian Worldwide Music Expo Reveals First Round Of 2014 Acts

On the bill are Grammy-nominated Melbourne soul outfit Hiatus Kaiyote, blues guitarist Ash Grunwald, Indigenous reggae-rock pioneer Bart Willoughby, Melbourne folk duo Pierce Brothers, Indigenous hip-hop artist Jimblah, R&B singer Ms Murphy and nu-wave brass ensemble Bullhorn. International acts include Nahko and Medicine for the People from the United States, Canada’s Digging Roots and New Zealand electronic acts Estere and Myele Manzanza.

 

Now in its seventh year, AWME aims to showcase the finest roots music from Australia and the world and foster stronger relationships between music industry associates by bringing together musicians, industry partners and festival audiences from all corners of the globe.
