A veteran of the industry, Beck left as The Yardbirds lead guitarist at the height of their career before going on to found the Jeff Beck Group in 1967 with vocalist Rod Stewart and bassist Ronnie Wood. They released iconic albums Truth (1968) and Beck-Ola (1969). Since then, Beck has been a tank of guitar redefinition, combining hard rock, jazz-fusion and rock’n’roll in experimentation of pleasing sound. Accompanying Beck will be his band: violinist Lizzie Bell, bassist Rhonda Smith, drummer Jonathan Joseph and guitarist Nicholas Meier. Beck will be supported by Grammy nominee Beth Hart for his Melbourne show.
