Could the show be making a permanent return?
Following on from last year’s adored reunion, the crew from Spicks and Specks will be returning to the television studio once again for a special episode later this year.
As the ABC reports, the reunion episode will be aired on screens across the country as part of Ausmusic month in November. What’s more, the team of Adam Hills, Myf Warhurst and Alan Brough will be filming three episodes for broadcast in 2020, focusing on music from the ’90s, ’00s and ’10s.
Last year’s Spicks and Specks reunion was the most-watched ABC program from 2018, and they’re clearly looking to beat their personal best. If watching it from the comfort of your own home isn’t good enough though, Melbourne punters can register to join the live studio audience.
“The response to last year’s show was overwhelming, both in the studio when we filmed it, and at home when it went to air. Spicks and Specks has a special place in our hearts, and I’m genuinely excited to make a few more specials for the ABC,” Adam Hills said in a statement.
Melbourne fans can register to be a part of the audience by heading to Eventbrite.
