What’s going to win the Hottest 100 and what deserves more votes

Voting for Triple J’s Hottest 100 this year has officially closed and it’s safe to say the vast majority of Aussies will be sinking a tinnie or two as the countdown rolls on. While it’s easy to spot the Hottest 100 winner a mile away, there’s always an angry mob willing and waiting to proclaim the songs that take out the top picks don’t deserve it — or worse, “it should’ve been ‘Horses'”. This year, we’ve beaten you to it.
